Cabinetry and Woodworking - Certificate

The knowledge and skills acquired in this program will allow you to work at an entry-level position in a cabinet or millwork shop, working with the tools and materials to build cabinets and furniture.

You will begin by learning about the safe operation of tools and equipment used to produce cabinets, furniture, and other wood products. You will then learn the basics of construction and finishing techniques, materials and hardware, and blueprint reading. You will receive instruction about the functioning of today s woodworking industry and how to work in it.
